2016 Raingarden Workshop

You may have heard the term “Raingarden,” but have you wondered what they are and how to create one?  Raingardens are a beautiful and effective solution to stormwater runoff in your own yard.

The Middle Fork Crow River Watershed District (MFCRWD) will be hosting a raingarden workshop on Thursday June 9th from 5:00 – 6:00pm at the MFCRWD office, 189 County Road 8, Spicer, MN. Participants will learn how to create their own personal raingardens and improve the water quality of our local lakes and streams.  There is no cost to participate in this workshop.  Please register with the MFCRWD by June 6th, as each participant will receive a free plant to start their own raingarden.  Bring your gardening gloves for some hands-on experience!
