NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING AND ALTERNATIVE MEETING FORMAT

(MINNESOTA STATUTES SECION 13D.04; 13D.021)

Please take notice. The Board of Managers has determined, based on the State Emergency Declaration related to the COVID-19 pandemic, that it is neither feasible nor prudent to hold in-person meetings during the emergency. Therefore, the regular meeting scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2020, at the District Office, 189 County Road 8 NE Spicer, MN 56288 will be conducted by alternative means (teleconference or video-conference) from remote locations. The meeting will occur under the conditions outlined in statutes section 13D.021. Members of the public interested in monitoring the meeting by telephone should use the below information. The purpose of this meeting is to conduct the business ordinarily scheduled for consideration at the Board’s regular meeting.

Minutes

The Board of Managers play a crucial role in the success of MFCRWD.  The board meets monthly to set policies, direct activities, and make key decisions on MFCRWD projects and programs.  Board members must be voting residents within the Watershed District boundaries and may not be a public officer (with exception to a Soil and Water Conservation District supervisor).
